Who is Tonya Ballew?
A lifelong design aficionado, Tonya created her own design studio in 2005. This has given her the freedom to source materials from all over as well as choose the individuals who can contribute creatively to design projects. She has a fresh, modern perspective that continually cross-references a variety of European, vintage, and American influences. Her personal style is relaxed, not too serious, a bit collected, warm and family-friendly with a chic, clean edge. Her goal is to maintain the integrity of existing spaces with an eye to pushing the envelope. The job is complete when clients love their space.
OUR AIM IS TRUE
We are a design studio focused on creating interiors that reflect our client’s lifestyle, aesthetics and budget. We spend time understanding how a home or business needs to function and flow. This allows us to begin the process of creating the interior that best suits a client. We also believe in having a little fun along the way.
No two clients are the same. We enter each project with a fresh perspective that comes to life when the needs and circumstances are understood. It is not always necessary to know what you want; we can help with that and allow the design process to unfold organically.
IT TAKES A VILLAGE
Every project is unique and as we bring your vision to life, we rely on a team of local innovators, artisans and craftsmen to transform our ideas into a finished product. Allow us to introduce you to these talented professionals with whom we have long-standing relationships.
Our goal is simplicity.
- When furniture and accessories are purchased through our studio, we waive design fees. Our studio and local trade connections have a vast array of furnishings sourced through annual scouting trips.
- Escorted shopping trips are billed hourly. When available, discounts offered by retailers are passed on to our clients.
- Construction layout, space planning, paint consultation, builder and architect meetings are billed hourly.
- Interior arranging is billed hourly. This is the equivalent of a Hollywood makeover. You can have a whole new house in half a day, and it’s worth every penny.
